Riverside Inn

So I went to Riverside Inn in Marshall, MI for a scrap weekend. I was invited by my sister in law Emily to go with the group she always goes with. It was totally amazing. I know you can look at pictures on their website which is scrapbookriverside.com, but I also took some cause I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was.

This is the view looking out the living room windows. That is the Kalamazoo River in the background, here untouched by the oil. Notice the patio chairs down below to sit and relax.
Later in the weekend I noticed the swan out for an afternoon swim. Amazing view! Imagine this a little later in Sept or early Oct. Beautiful colors I bet.

When you walk in the front door this is what you see. The kitchen is to the left and some bedrooms to the right. Those windows are the ones I took the above pictures out of. There is a nice size tv there in the armoire there on the right and the couch is very comfy. I tried it out. I can picture Mesha hanging out here reading or watching the latest flick to get a break from us crazy scrappers in the basement.

That is the armoire that I was talking bout just another view. Actually Im standing in the kitchen taking this photo. If you look close you'll see one of the scrappers coming from a nap in her bedroom.

One of the bedrooms. They all match so cute. And they all have fantabulous comforters on them.

Another bedroom...hey we're there to scrap not make our beds!! haha

This was our bathroom, it was right in our room, so nice!! Each bathroom has shampoo and conditioner in the shower for you. They all have Bath and Body Works shower gel, lotion, and spray. While we were scrapping I kept saying "man I smell good" lol

This was the room I shared with Clare and Emily. I slept in the far bed. The ONLY downfall to our room is that the ceiling fan was either broke or too complicated for us to figure out how to turn it on.

This is the sit down side of the kitchen. We ate all our meals at this table, all 13 of us. Amy did a class on one of her pages. So some of the scrappers are doing that in this picture. There is another tv in the armoire in the corner. Notice the huge windows, what an awesome view while your in the kitchen.

This is the other side of the fully stocked kitchen. The stove is a bit hard to get used to, just ask Emily and her burnt rice pan. lol

So here it is..... the crop room. It's a walk out basement that is huge. Two of the bedrooms are also down here. In the far right of the photo is where the stairs come down.
These tables have 2 cricut machines, a computer and printer, creative memories cutting tools and some other cutting system that I'm not familiar with so I didn't use. At the far end of the table is where we put our snacks. LOTS OF SNACKS!!

Here is the view of the crop room from where I was sitting. I was in the far corner. At the far end on the left is the stairs going up and in the left corner is the doorway to one of the bedrooms. There are three sets of tables and plenty enough room for 13 scrappers. Notice the huge tv on the wall and how funny is it that the Michigan football game is on. Don't tell our husbands but several of us were very curious how the Wolverines were doing against Notre Dame. We did watch 12 movies over the weekend, I think 12 maybe more???

Just another view of the room.
It was an amazing weekend. It's hard for some people to think about spending an entire weekend scrap booking but the time went by so fast. The group of women I went with was great too. There were all different personalities but everyone was very friendly. I had just met most of these women but I didn't feel like an outsider at all.
I'm planning on hosting a weekend in Oct of next year and I hope its as productive and fun as this weekend.
Most important for me I got 52 pages done and motivation to get back to scrappin!!
