Football banquet

Words can't describe how proud I am of Jacob this year. He played football for the first time, and did great. He wasn't a starter, he wasn't the best, he wasn't the fastest. What he was, was a team player. He went to every practice with a smile on his face. Not one time did we have to force him to go. He was interested and paid attention. He learned the plays and the ins and outs of football. He listened when his dad gave him pointers. He respected his coaches and did whatever they asked.
I'm honestly hoping that we have many more years of watching him play.

Halloween 2011

I love this picture of Sarah.
We went to Bosserds Pumpkin Patch with her brownies group.
They got to pick out a pumpkin, run through the haunted forest, play on the huge bales of hay, and my least favorite the cornmaze in the dark!
Here we are on the hayride, on our way to find the perfect pumpkin....
Halloween party at Riverside School, the bee.....
Carving pumpkins at our house,
Totally by theirselves this year.
The years of us carving for them are over,
they didn't even ask for any suggestions.....
My babies are growing up.

Sorting their candy while we watched "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"
I used to love to sort my candy. I can't remember very many costumes that I wore but I do remember sorting and counting and trading my candy after the trick or treating was over.
