Beach

Saturday we took a trip to South Haven.
I had been wanting to go to the beach and the day was perfect for it.
The kids were super excited to go.
I absolutely love this picture of Jacob.
He is so handsome.
He has grown up so much in the last 6 months.
I can't believe how sweet he can be. He is so helpful around the house.
He is trying out for football this year and I can't even wrap my brain around the fact that he is old enough to play. I look forward to watching his games.

And then theres this girl. Drama Drama Drama
Sometimes I just want to pinch those cute cheeks.
She is so busy, and talkative.
She loves the beach and the water and being outside.
The water was beautiful. Just cold enough to be refreshing but not freezing.
I wish we could've stayed longer. And I can't wait to go again.
Jeremy enjoying a cold one and getting some sun.
Sarah is sporting the swimsuit Grandma Turkey bought for her.

I think Sarah was in the water the whole time we were there.
She's a fish, no fear. And she's become a great swimmer.
And of course a show off and ham when the camera is out.
What a great day!

Keith, again

This is how the night started....no this isn't the two girls falling into bed after the concert, this is the two girls trying to make their bed before we left for the concert....they were having some issues.
Rebecca and Mesha at McFaddens.
Awesome food, and thank God it was really loud in there.
Because we had to listen to Brittany talk loudly about being the number #1 mom. haha
We had no idea what she was talking about.
Safe to say she had a great time.
And April my oh my where did you get that fantastic necklace??

Our seats weren't great, honestly they sucked.
But really in Van Andel there really isn't a bad seat.
We were in what I like to call the nosebleed section.
I am very thankful for the video screen behind him. It was very clear and he looked beautiful!!
Brittany and her air guitar and Rebecca wishing she was as cool as Brittany!

He came out into the middle of the floor on a tiny little stage. Yes I know if I had agreed to let Mesha buy the floor seats way in the back we would've been pretty dang close to him.
It's my fault, I'm a dumb a**.
I had a wonderful time.
I would go see him again right now.
I do think he is better in concert then Kenny.
If you are only picking one concert to go to, this is the concert you should pick!!

Tomorrow!

I didn't think this day would ever get here!!

It feels like it has taken forever for July 22nd to get here. I think we musta bought tickets 5 years ago.

Tomorrow we will be enjoying some Keith Urban!!
It's been two very long years since we saw him last.
Last time there was 3 of us and although we had a blast as you can see from the picture below, this year is going to be FANTASTIC.

pow wow

We went to the pow wow for 4th of July.
We took our camper and stayed at the campgrounds.
Joel and Sherry and the girls, Em and Cole and their family, and Nana and Papa were all there also.
Sarah and Elizabeth took some interesting pictures for me when I wasn't paying attention.
Uncle Marty, Head Dancer.
Chris' brother.
The girls out enjoying themselves doing a tribal dance.
Our family at the casino.
We were all hot and sweaty from being out in the hot sun all day at the pow wow.
All the grandkids.
We took a group picture too but mine did not turn out. I hate having a stranger take the picture. You never know what your going to get, and in this case I got a very off center blurry picture.

My lovely little children.
ha, they WERE so good all weekend.
Proud of their culture!
On Sunday we spent the day at Lake Michigan. The weather was beautiful and the kids loved it.
Sarah, My little bathing beauty!!

Grandma Turkey's summer visit

Dropping Sarah off at Bair Lake Bible Camp
Admiring the art work at Duncan
Jeremy giving the Duncan tour
Birthday surprise
On our way to Duncan and Lunch with Josh and Allison.

My pictures are all out of order. Mom showed up on Friday and surprised Sarah for her birthday party. We hung out with friends and family on Friday night and had cake and presents.
On Saturday, Josh, Allison, Chase, Mom, Jeremy, Jacob, Sarah and I all went to Duncan Aviation for a tour. We went to lunch after at the Dark Horse in Marshall. It was a really nice day with everyone.
On Sunday we took Sarah to camp. It was fun dropping her off and having mom with us.
Monday I worked and mom hung out with Jacob during the day. That night we went to see Bridesmaids, funny funny funny.
Tuesday mom and I went to Shipshewana. Lots of walking for mom so we had to come home and nurse her knee.
Wednesday we went and picked Sarah up from camp.
Thursday I worked in the morning and when I got home I drove mom to Bay City to Aunt Kathy's house.
She stayed there for a week and we just got her back on Saturday. Josh and Allison had a great party on Friday night with both sides of the family. I sure do have some awesome Aunts.
Yesterday we sent Jacob off to camp and went to church. In the afternoon mom and I took Sarah to her Brownies party. We went to Putters in Kalamazoo. She FINALLY got her patches from all year long. Now Jeremy just needs to sew them on.
That pretty much catches us up on her visit. Tomorrow we are heading to Saugatuck for the day. Maybe a movie, maybe some dinner out.
Sadly I will drive her to the airport on Wednesday. It feels like she just got here and she's been in MI for 3 weeks. I'm sad cause I don't know when I'll see her again. I wish she didn't live so far away. I guess maybe thats why I cherish the time that she is here.
