The Zoo Boo

I almost forgot about our trip to the Zoo Boo this year.  We were invited to go with the Morales family. And we had the best time.

 

 

 I miss my babies being small especially when we do something like this.  Sarah still tries real hard to participate and enjoy these outings.  She does like to "mother" the little kids so I think she had a great time.

 

 Look at this beautiful family.  I always tell Kelli how lucky she is that they are so involved.  Seems like every holiday season there is something that they all get together to do.  I would give anything if my family would be this interested in being with the grandkids and doing fun silly things like this.

 Perfect example of Sarah having a great time doing something that she knows will make me smile.  I've been taking her picture on this ant since she was a toddler. 

 6 more years people and this little lady will be tearing up the roads.

I think she would've carried Jax around the whole zoo if she could've.  I think she's going to be a great babysitter. 

I'm so thankful that we were able to go to the zoo.  It ended up being a beautiful day weatherwise and I always love spending time with the Morales family.  

June Strawberry Picking

 Kelli and I and the kids headed out to Tekonsha to do some strawberry picking.

It was early in the season so there were so many to pick.

......and eat!

 The kids were doing so good at picking the berries until one of us, I'm not sure who, told them that it was ok to eat some too.  It was all over for Mason and Averie at that point.  They might as well have sat down and just ate. 
Mason being the good kid that he was would pick a few, then sit and eat them out of his basket.  So in his mind he sure did help us pick the berries. 

 Jaxson decided he would like to go for a walk so Sarah spent most of her time pushing the stroller.

She was in heaven.  Averie did decide to help her out a little bit by walking with her.

 The whole picking crew.  Jacob did not want his picture taken.  I only got him to cooperate by promising I wouldn't post it on facebook.  Too grown up for a picture with the kids I guess.

I ended up with 8 pints of strawberries.  Everybody helped out and we all went home happy.

I also made jam for the first time, who knew it was so easy.

Just teasing you Kelli, you and Dave have some great genes, just look at these children.

 Big Sister Averie, looking to her mom for some guidance on how to not squeeze him to death.

 Big Brother Mason, look at that smile.  Oh the things he's going to teach him.

Most importantly all the lyrics to the Disney songs.

No doubt he's already started.

 Checking him all out, making sure he's just as perfect as we said he would be.

 He even opened his eyes and visited with us.

 So happy and content.

I say neither.  I think he has his own looks.

I have to say that these three children are the only children in my picasa web picture organizer that have their very own folders.  It was easy to go back and look at their baby photos. 

I look forward to adding to Jaxon's over the years.

Sarah and Mason

My Sarah loves Mason. She loves to "mother" him. She has enjoyed being able to play with him in the mornings before school.

She doesn't like a dirty face...just like her mother. I can't stand it when they've got crustys. HA

I'm not sure how clean she got his face but they both had a great time trying.
I love her facial expression in this picture. She always tells me she wants to do my job when she grows up. Argh, I almost like the garbage pick up guy idea better!!
